How much does a custom stainless steel kitchen cost in Melbourne?
Every ZOOMTEC JOINERY piece is custom-made to your exact dimensions, so the final price depends on size, finish and project scope. Typical starting prices in Melbourne (inc. GST, supply only) are: Kitchen $22,000, Wardrobe $33,000, Laundry $4,400 and Storage $5,500. Prices include GST and cover supply of the joinery. Installation is quoted separately after we measure your site. These are starting points, not quotes.

Is it all stainless steel, or just the benchtop?
The cabinetry uses stainless steel outer and inner skins around an aluminium honeycomb core, with construction, grade and finish confirmed for the project. Kitchen and island benchtops can use solid stainless steel where specified; laundry and other applications may use a different stainless build-up suited to the span and use.
Why stainless steel is used for residential joinery.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes. Every piece is manufactured to your exact millimetre dimensions rather than fixed standard sizes.

Do you install, and do you come to measure?
Yes. A site measure is arranged before manufacture to confirm exact dimensions, and installation is coordinated as part of the project and quoted separately.

What is the lead time for a custom stainless steel kitchen?
Typical lead time is around 2 months from confirmed design and deposit to delivery, depending on project scope.

Where is ZOOMTEC JOINERY, and can I visit?
ZOOMTEC JOINERY is at Factory 6, 981 Mountain Hwy, Boronia VIC 3155. Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. Other times by appointment.
Are stainless steel kitchens suitable for homes, or only commercial kitchens?
They are suitable for residential projects when the detailing, proportions, finishes and hardware are designed for the home rather than copied from a commercial kitchen. See our residential stainless steel kitchen approach.
Can a stainless steel benchtop have an integrated sink?
Yes. Selected projects can use a laser-welded integrated stainless steel sink for a clean, continuous transition between benchtop and sink. Learn more about solid stainless steel benchtops.
Can I use stainless steel only for the island or benchtop?
Yes. Stainless steel can be used selectively as a feature material or developed as part of a complete kitchen and whole-home joinery system.
